The Media

Could it be that most TV, movies and newspapers tell people what governments want people to believe? Perhaps the media is controlled, maybe they use well proven techniques to brainwash the people? Could it be possible that they take the idea that they want everybody to believe and then repeat it over and over again?

TV would be a perfect way to brainwash someone. It has been proven, that watching television puts people into a brain wave state where their subconscious minds can be manipulated.  TV literally plants ideas into people’s subconscious minds. People then have ideas about themselves and the world that they believe to be their own but in fact were planted there by the media.

“The rank and file are usually much more primitive than we imagine. Propaganda must therefore always be essentially simple and repetitious. The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly... it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”

Joseph Goebbels

A perfect example of how the media brainwashes people is the effect it has on a woman’s sense of self. Women are taught from childhood, through mass media, that they are inadequate, they are led to believe that other women are more feminine and desirable than themselves because these other women have better bodies, cosmetics, food, clothes, education, jobs and lifestyles. This creates a need for woman to continuously validate their sense of self-worth by purchasing merchandise; this becomes a full time preoccupation for women everywhere, thus enslaving them. Has this situation arisen because big companies just want to make money regardless of the affects on their customer’s well being? Or could it be that this situation is the result of a deeper social engineering devised by governments to keep women distracted from self-development? I mean:- If women felt good about themselves they wouldn't buy shit - they would transcend vanity and start trying to reorganize their and their communities living environment. Big corporations (fronted by puppet governments) couldn't possibly put up with that!

It's probably just about making money, who cares about women's self esteem, let's make them buy products no matter what! But maybe the Media is manipulated by big business corporations, via the government, to report in its favor?  Discussion programs, reports and news, pure entertainment shows and movies are designed to reflect certain modes of being, certain lifestyle choices, certain ways of thinking and seeing. They also use the times of broadcasting to engender the desired response from the masses. So after a hard day’s work doing a job that institutionalizes them, most people sit down to eat their dinner in front of a T.V or laptop and the evening ‘news’, for their daily programming session. Then this is reinforced everywhere through advertising and other media outlets. The majority of humanity is continuously bombarded by product placement propaganda, all distributed under the pretense of objective public information.
